wow, so glad we got up from our nap and went to the 5:30 service this evening! It was SO good and such a good reminder...
we had our last lamaze class all day till 4 pm, so we went to the later service. listen to JP's message if you can. it is all about recognizing our identity is in Christ and remembering what He did for us, how he removed all our obligation to sin and death and covers us completely, gives us security in all we are here on earth and reminds us of our obligations to Him for saving us! go and make Himself K N O W N !!! He is our security blanket and loves us SO MUCH!
oh He loves us !

we sang this song as we left and i cried, just so good...so true!

here's the link to dave crowder singing it...kinda rockin out...

He is jealous for me, Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realize just how beautiful You are,
And how great Your affections are for me.

And oh, how He loves us oh
Oh how He loves us,
How He loves us all

He is jealous for me, Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realize just how beautiful You are,
And how great Your affections are for me.

And oh, how He loves us oh,
Oh how He loves us,
How He loves us all

He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves.

And we are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes,
If His grace is an ocean, we're all sinking.
And heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss,
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest,
I don't have time to maintain these regrets,
When I think about, the way…

That He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves.
Yeah, He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves.

Yeah, He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves.

  1. been reading all your posts but feel kind of stalker-ish to comment on every single one. =) the bird story was really fascinating, and i was thinking you should send your story to one of the professors of ornithology in texas. you love birds so much and are such a learner that it might be educational to hear back from an expert. =) i must also say that the first time i met your mother in anthro, i was convinced you were her spitting image. those pics are absolutely amazing! last, i'm always grateful to read how The Lord is working in your life. i've been convicted about blogging more in regards to my walk with Him! i am challenging myself to step it up in that department.
p.s. you look beautiful! hope you are feeling good.
