getting caught up again...Rome day 1

all i have to say is don't come to rome just after you've spend a nice, relaxing time in cinque terra...it was just too many people for me. not only is it a city of nearly 6 million people, there was a protest going on the minute we got there, which didn't help. but we made the most of it. loved our hosts at Kiwi B&B and just went with it. got lost a few times, but all-in-all, it was great to be able to experience all the historical sights Rome had to offer.
