Christmas gift ideas...

i recently came across these photos again, and decided to re-post this entry; as Christmas is approaching, whether we care to admit it or not. we are all faced with decisions of what to give and, sure, there are those special, meaningful gifts, we like to and should feel fine with giving, but i am considering all those 'filler' gifts that are really, basically, unnecessary! THOSE are the ones we should be replacing with true and deserving gifts, to those who really do need to be thought of. spread the word of World Vision's gift giving program, or any other organization you participate with, to others, and encourage them to not give this Christmas, something that will just pile up as contribute to existing clutter!

i was so encouraged with the spirit of Christmas last year! it was all about others and, so, worth-while.
ours was a monetary contribution, which i had fun making artistic cards describing;
and others also participated and gave gifts in our names, to charities of their choice!
i highly recommend it! true satisfaction. infact, if done through World Vision you receive back a nice photo of what all was supplied with your donation! the funds go to meet their greatest needs. families are met with, asked and advised, so no money goes to waist!
it's a win-win!
