planning our trip to Europe!

i have done SO much planning for our trip to Europe in September! we are going to have a great time because of it, i am convinced of that! matt and i cannot wait!

squirrel friend @ the Cy Twombly Gallery

matt and i met my parents and his sister, in Houston this past weekend. we had a great time, running around, hitting all the art shows and galleries we enjoy. at the Menil, as we approached the Cy Twombly Gallery, we spotted this little guy, laying flat on his stomach, eating a peanut! he was so tame and let us get close and even snap some shots!

once inside, we talked to Guillermo, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, who manned the space and as part of a pastime, he'd befriended this family of squirrels, all 12 of them!

the squirrels would walk up to the door, begging for another peanut from Guillermo:

and then he'd either go lay on his stomach and chomp away or run up into a tree and munch!
we loved watching him!
